Four new collaboration agreements signed at SPIEF!

Dobrograd-1 Special Economic Zone represents Vladimir Oblast at the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), held from June 2-5, 2021, at Expoforum.

SPIEF is a unique platform for dialogue at the international level. The Forum has provided everything necessary for productive negotiations and establishing working contacts. 

The main slogan of the Forum is Together Again. Economics of the New Reality. More than 5 thousand representatives of business circles from Russia and foreign countries are discussing strategies for coordinated economic development, despite global risks and challenges.

According to forecasts, more than 320 partnership agreements are being prepared for signing at the Forum sites. Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that the agreements and arrangements reached in the course of the Forum would contribute to the strengthening of international relations.

Today, on June 4, representatives of Dobrograd-1 Special Economic Zone held successful negotiations with new investors and formalized the new agreements.

Egida + LLC  signed an agreement on investment in an enterprise for the production of fillers for the furniture industry on the territory of Vladimir Oblast in the Dobrograd-1SEZ. The total investment will amount to 2.5 billion rubles. The construction of the plant with a total area of ​​40 thousand square meters is scheduled for early 2022. The enterprise should start production in the third quarter of 2023.

INTEX LLC, the leader in the production of compression garments on the Russian market, will soon launch a project to build a modern production complex with an area of ​​2.6 hectares on the site of the SEZ. The start of production of medical products of European quality is planned for the end of 2022. The company is investing 241 million rubles in the project.

LLC LitVud, a supplier for world famous furniture chains - IKEA, HOFF and Askona, will create more than 1200 jobs in the region.

The company will invest 2.18 billion rubles in a modern enterprise for the production of mattresses and pillows intended for export. Production facilities with a total area of ​​60 thousand square meters will take up 20 hectares. The opening of the plant is planned for the 4th quarter of next year.

Another important moment was the signing of a partnership agreement with the Association of Artificial Intelligence Laboratories (ALRII). “Earlier, we discussed starting an artificial intelligence (AI) sector in the SEZ with Vladimir Sedov, the founder of Dobrograd. The policy of Dobrograd 1, the use of advanced construction technologies, and a competent business community of residents will allow us to show all the opportunities that  AI can open up for modern business, ”says Roman Vasiliev, President of ALRII.
